Finlaggan 34

The Finlaggan is a compact modern 34 string clarsach with a very distinctive sweeping profile and generous string spacing.

As with the Camlads, the medium tension strings are firm without being too hard on the fingers; but the different soundboard material gives the Finlaggans a slightly darker, more subtle sound than the Camlads. They are generally strung with nylon strings, but gut may be fitted in the middle range as an option.

Finlaggans have a traditional soundboard of solid spruce, are available in a range of fine timbers, and are fitted as standard with gold-plated Camac semi-tone levers.
